1. Reason for Revolutionary struggle in African Countries going through huge Public Uprising:

In Tunetia, Egypt, Yaman and Jordan: unemployment and stagnation in the degenerating Epoch of Capitalism and economic neocolonialism Imperialism. 20% of the total work forces are unemployed. 50% of the youths are unemployed. Sharp increase in food prices since 2007.

Egypt suffers from chronic high rate of unemployment, elevated inflation and  poverty. (Ref: Frontline, 25 Feb 2010 in article "Economic Root", P-30-31)

2. Something in India:

"[A]ccording to the definition used in the report {Asian Development Bank}, the vast majority of this middle class earns between Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000 per person per month. Only 0.0009% of Indians earn more than Rs 10,000 per month."..."The vast majority of the Indian middle class 82% of it, or 224 million people - however, fit into the first category." . The report concludes, "Indian middle class earns between Rs 1035 and Rs 2070" ("The Times Of India", Aug 22, 2010 "Most of Indian 'middle class' earns between Rs 1000-2000" by  Rukmini Shrinivasan)

Widespread poverty;  around 25 per cent of the population is below the poverty line as defined by the government of India,  means about 300 million people living on just enough to keep them at subsistence level." (This poverty line is decided on the basic of daily food earning, other things like cloths, housing, etc are never included in it!!) [Tendulkar committee report says that 41.8 per cent of the population (450 million people) survive on a monthly per capita consumption expenditure of Rs 447. It comes to bare Rs 14.50 per day.

1. An article in Frontline commented on the Political situation in Indian, "If there is any political action, it is in the form of a big rally of people where leaders make impassioned speeches and everyone then goes home." (Frontline, 25 Feb 2011, "Unrest & Democracy" by Bhaskar Ghose Page-85)

2. An article "Divide and misrule", ("Times Of India", 08 February 2011) by Jug Suraiya trying to "suggest" that "India  is very diverse so it can never be united, "The people of India, on the other hand, you and me, are divided along economic, social, religious, linguistic, regional and many other faultlines too numerous to count. These differences have over the years been emphasised and exploited by the political class which has created its own captive vote banks based on caste, creed, language, regional identity, economic status and other real or imagined divisions that separate us from each other. The British taught our political class that the secret of gaining and holding on to power lay in the policy of divide and rule.
